Humorously, he added, “I’m planning another one…No, I’m kidding!”

Ty recalled the eventful drive to the hospital at 4 AM, where he thought he would receive a steroid for his throat blockage but eventually ended up being airlifted to Denver, Colo., for an immediate surgical procedure—a moment he describes as “very dramatic.”

He explained that the ordeal made him realize the unpredictability of life. “It made me realize you just don’t know when your timecard’s gonna get pulled, so wake up, live every single day to the fullest,” said Ty. He is enthusiastic about turning 60 and wants to ensure his life has an enduring impact, much like the projects he is involved in.
