“The Judge From Hell” Reveals First Poster and September Premiere Date with Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young

The highly anticipated fantasy crime-romance drama The Judge From Hell is set to debut in September 2024, featuring a star-studded cast led by Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young. On August 16, SBS unveiled the drama’s first teaser poster, showcasing Park Shin Hye adorned with devil wings and the caption, “Welcome to my world.” The series will premiere on September 1, with the first two episodes airing back-to-back. Subsequent episodes will be broadcast every Friday and Saturday at 10 pm KST (6:30 pm IST).

The Judge From Hell follows the story of an elite judge who, despite her cold exterior, is actually a demon tasked with sending unrepentant culprits to hell. Her life takes a turn when she encounters a warm, intelligent detective who harbors deep personal pain. The series consists of 14 episodes and promises to blend crime-solving with supernatural elements.

Directed by Park Jin Pyo, known for films such as Brave Citizen and Closer to Heaven, this will be his debut K-drama project. Jo Yi Soo penned the screenplay. Park Shin Hye, who typically stars in romance comedies, expressed excitement about her role, noting it is a departure from her previous characters and offers a new and intriguing challenge. Fans are eagerly awaiting this unique blend of fantasy and romance set in a courtroom drama.
