A big oil tanker that is not from Iran has gone through the important Strait of Hormuz. The Strait of Hormuz is a waterway that connects the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman. It went into the area that belongs to Iran around 11:33 in the morning. Then it went through the Strait of Hormuz around 2:43 in the afternoon on March 15.
After the Karachi tanker went through the Strait of Hormuz it kept going into the Gulf of Oman. It was going at a speed of 9.6 knots. This is a deal because most ships that go through that area have been turning off their tracking systems. They do this so they do not get attacked.
