Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is pushing employees to use artificial intelligence for every task possible, dismissing concerns that AI might replace human jobs. Speaking at an all-hands meeting following the company’s record-breaking quarter, Huang said it would be “insane” for teams to limit their use of AI.

He emphasized that employees should integrate AI into their workflows wherever possible and continue improving it. “I want every task that is possible to be automated with artificial intelligence to be automated with artificial intelligence,” Huang told staff. “I promise you, you will have work to do.”


Using AI to Build AI

Huang highlighted how Nvidia’s software engineers already rely on AI coding assistants like Cursor. Even when AI tools are not perfect, employees are encouraged to use them and help refine them. “If it doesn’t work yet, use it until it does and jump in to make it better,” he said.

This approach mirrors trends across Silicon Valley. Microsoft has made AI usage mandatory and integrated tools like GitHub Copilot into daily workflows. Google is pushing engineers to use Gemini AI for coding, and Meta plans to include AI adoption in employee performance reviews. Amazon employees have even requested access to AI coding tools like Cursor.


AI Is Helping, Not Replacing

Huang reassured staff that AI is meant to support, not replace, employees. Nvidia continues to expand its workforce, hiring several thousand people in the latest quarter while still estimating a shortage of around 10,000 employees. The company is also opening new offices in the U.S. and Asia, including in Shanghai and Taipei, signaling continued growth.

Despite Nvidia’s record-breaking earnings and strong guidance, Huang acknowledged the challenges posed by AI market speculation. Investors have questioned how long the AI spending boom can last, leading to volatile stock reactions.

“If we delivered a bad quarter, it is evidence there’s an AI bubble. If we delivered a great quarter, we are fueling the AI bubble,” Huang told employees. He explained that the company is in a “no-win” scenario: even minor setbacks could lead to criticism, while strong results may be seen as overhyped.
