Germany registers worst Covid infection rate in pandemic, and Denmark evaluates health pass return

Amid a new outbreak of Covid-19 cases, Germany and Denmark are evaluating measures to contain the rise. In the German case, infections reached their highest level since the beginning of the pandemic, with a moving average that reached 26,300 infections this Sunday (7) — the previous record was 25,700 in December last year, according to the Our World in Data platform.
