Iowa University Shooting: Police Release ‘Persons of Interest’ Photo as 5 Victims Confirmed

Authorities in Iowa City have released pictures of people they want to talk to about a shooting near the University of Iowa campus. This happened late at night. Five people got hurt, including three students. The University of Iowa community is really upset and worried about safety in areas where people like to go out at night.

The shooting happened on Sunday morning in the Pedestrian Mall district. This is an area with a lot of bars and restaurants that students like to go to. The police said they were called to a fight with a lot of people and then someone started shooting.

The police said five people were hurt from the shooting. One of them is still in the hospital in condition but the other four are doing okay. The police and ambulance got to the scene quickly. Took the hurt people to the hospital. Then they made sure the area was safe.

The Iowa City Public Safety department put out pictures of people they think might know something about the shooting. They do not think these people did the shooting. They might have information that can help. The police are asking people to come if they know anything about these people.
