Details on ‘Evil’ Season 4 and Conclusion on Paramount Plus – Sky Bulletin

Despite hopes to find ‘Evil’ a new home, such as Netflix, following its discontinuation on Paramount+, the series’ creators confirm that the show has not been pitched to other platforms.
According to co-creator Robert King, there have been no discussions regarding the sale of ‘Evil’ to alternative streaming services. This revelation was made during an episode of The Hollywood Reporter’s TV’s Top 5 podcast.
Paramount+ decided to conclude ‘Evil’ with its upcoming fourth season but sweetened the news by ordering four additional episodes, bringing the final season up to a total of 14 episodes. The extra content is being considered by the show’s creators, the Kings, as an equivalent to a short fifth season.
With the decision to add these episodes, Michelle King, co-creator and co-showrunner, emphasized the team’s commitment to ensuring a fulfilling conclusion for everyone involved, particularly the audience and the cast.
The cancellation news was met with sadness by the show’s star Katja Herbers, who expressed her disappointment in a now-deleted tweet and also reached out to Netflix for a potential series rescue. However, with the extended final season, Michelle King mentioned that Paramount+ hoped to give the supernatural drama a proper send-off, allowing a “sense of closure” for its fans.
‘Evil’ is set to return for its last run in May, with the precise premiere date yet to be announced.
